Admiral VIII
A Norfolk Broads hire cruiser circa 1960. Examples of this cruiser first appeared in the 1930’s. The hull lines were derived from Saunders Roe flying boats. The model depicts a 12th scale, well known Admiral class 8 berth cruiser. Built of mahogany on oak by C.J. Broom & Sons of Brundall Norfolk.
Currently this yard builds fibre glass boats at an extremely high standard, both for hire and private ownership.
